About Me:

Some things about myself…
I am a free spirit. My favorite thing in the world is laughing and feeling loved, as well as loving people. I openly love almost everyone I meet. I am very spiritual and feel that love is not shared enough between people. I may go throughout life meeting people who only care to have small talk, but never open up fully. Once in a while I meet someone who is open to real conversation and it feels great to talk to them. Love has no border or limit. I can feel a strong connection with an individual no matter where they are. Let me just say, I am not speaking about love in a sexual way. I am talking about the kind of love that God has for us. It is love that means a connection between two people who sincerely care about the other person, who are interested in their life. Love that means you understand that life is passion, that there is nothing greater than two humans connecting their minds and hearts to communicate. Love that is truly sincere and pure, meaning you will not look down on someone who is different than you. Many Americans cannot grasp this concept. Most Americans are tainted by the media and believe love is sexual and lustful. But I believe in real love, the kind that everyone has for their mothers as infants. The kind that appears when you meet a true friend. Real love is loyal and unfaltering. I believe everyone is capable of loving like this, but many do not because they are afraid to open up their hearts. I seem to enjoy speaking with people from other countries because they can understand this kind of love easier. More about me: I respect people who are respectful. I might seem quiet, but once you get to know me, I talk for hours. I will often stare into the night sky and think about life in many ways. It's hard to wrap my mind around how small every human is compared to the Earth. I am extremely devoted to protecting the environment. I am an interior designer, focusing on building and designing to protect the environment by using recyclable materials and renewable energy (such as solar and wind power).

I am 5'7” with hazel eyes. People often tell me I am a strange beauty. I am not beautiful like models you see in magazines, I am a “non-traditional” beauty, they say. I am being blunt when I say this. I don't know whether I am beautiful or not but these are my friend's opinions. I think it also comes from my views and open love for people, that they end up thinking I'm beautiful person. I believe everyone is beautiful, and I DON'T want people to look like models in magazines. I think everyone has something interesting about them that no one else has, which makes them beautiful and lovely.
Sometimes I think about how short our lives are on Earth, and get anxious to experience something new. I try to live in the present so that I dont miss a single moment. However, you can't help but plan for the future. As you go through college, you are always extremely busy. It's hard to focus on the present when you are living by deadlines. Age doesnt matter. It's how old you FEEL that matters. My gramma just turned 90, but she said she feels like she's 70. She makes me laugh. In America your success is what you make it. If you devote your energy and time to being successful, you can find a way. I think that is why many people enjoy living here. However, I don't agree with many things that our government does, and find it very sorrowful that we have brought so many deaths to the world. I plan on moving out of the country when I'm done with school (this may include Canada).
Like I said, I am a very spiritual person. I am devoted to God. I'm not Christian, but I do believe in a higher power, which I choose to call God. However, I am very against preaching. I don't think it's right to push your beliefs on other people. Rather, we should learn as much as we can about eachother to allow us to benefit from our differences. I have a very open mind and do not look down on anyone. I know that God is the only one who can judge people.
I have 3 siblings. We all have very different walks through life. By this I mean, our views on life and or hopes and dreams are different. My brother is 21. I don't know if he is spiritual or not. However, he is a funny person which I enjoy. He will always be one of my closest friends. My older step-sister is 24. She is a very free spirit too, and has taught me very important lessons in my life. Even though we believe different things, I really look up to her. She is so strong and independent. I strive to be like that. My younger step-sister is 15, and is very caught up in adolescence, as are most kids her age, but I see something special in her. We all go through that stage!
As for my hopes and dreams, my greatest desire is to serve God by being a good example to other people and represent His love. I've been blessed with an artistic gift, and I also want to use my talents to become a great interior designer to benefit other people's lives. Through green design, I want to help save the environment from human destruction. Sometimes our world looks bleak, like we have already destroyed it. But I know that people want to do good, they just need to be pushed a little. I also know that there are more people out there who love life, which means they will try to help the Earth when they can. Whoever you are, we may be from different countries, so our views of the world are probably different. From my perspective, I feel that anything is possible in life. The only thing standing in my way is money. I have $40,000 in loans which means I will be paying $400 per month for a long time. This means I will not be able to travel a lot or spend extra money as I wish. They say money is the root of all evil and I agree. I wish money did not exist. I'm currently living in Colorado, and loving it! I just try to focus my passion for life on each activity, so I don't miss any precious moments.
If you really want to know me, simply message me. I'm super open to chit-chat about anything especially with people from other cultures.

I used to be afraid of what the future held. I would look around and see our environment deteriorating before my eyes. I was bombarded with media about the destruction of Mother Earth.

Then I found this quote:
“The Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's need, but not every man's greed.” - Mohandas Gandhi

At that moment something clicked inside my head. I realized that I cannot change how other people live their lives. I can't get them to stop destroying the environment.
But I can do something.

Like I said before, I am now pursuing a degree in Green Design. In other words, I'm going into a branch of interior design that focuses on designing for sustainability. I was shocked to learn about how much power an interior designer holds in their creations. They can either make a healthy space, one that works with the environment instead of against it, or a space that continues to put toxins into the Earth. It's scary but amazing how each decision they make will effect the future of the planet. Depending on what materials they choose, the space will either be a negative impact on the environment or the inhabitants, or it will be a balanced and healthy place. My goal is to make spaces that provide a wonderfuly healthy space that is one with the earth.
I am so glad I found a way to make such a huge impact.

Everything as led me to this point and I am so excited for the future. I used to be afraid, but now I'm empowered.

I will leave you with my favorite quote: “Breath deep, seek peace.” - Dinotopia
